Who are our Customers?
There are two PATH customers: youth consumers of services and the community in which youth reside. Our belief is that every youth diverted from negative outcomes (e.g., homelessness, unplanned pregnancy) is a youth who will become a gainfully employed contributor to his or her community. Consequently, by delivering services to PATH youth, the community at large is also served over time.
PATH is the result of 10+ years of on-the-ground work and development. The program grew because of identification of evidence-based best practices of other efforts around the country. This integrated approach to permanency and independent living is very rare, but is the ideal approach to improve young adult outcomes.
